If u compare the frequency of 136 using the 136 guide dated Mar 04 and the latest one, you will find that 136 frequency is almost back to square one.

I don’t know about Service 48 (I haven’t seen it yet), but it sucked to see a Serangoon-Bukit Batok link cut (Service 106). If possible, Service 106 could serve the underserved Beach Road. I’ve conveyed this view to SMRT last week. They haven’t replied.

hmmm they use 107 to cover up the loss of 82 and 97…. how about the link to orchard from hougang? no bus to cover up?

Well, they sure tell you to take NEL. But if you are at CK Tang, you have to change trains. At least Plaza Singapura is directly connected to the NEL side of Dhoby Ghaut.

hougang is link by 132 to far east side of orchard area and NEL connected the Dhoby Gaut, but then how about the middle? taka and hereen shops?

I remembered 1 said that 115 loading better than 275

But let's put the frequency into the picture

115 is 26 mins...

275 even more frequent (Esp bef 131 came into the pic)

So, 275 loading still higher as may have lesser passenger on average, but defintely higher per hour

Service 275 can be withdrawn as service 131 covers it. However, I find 115 useful as it is the only way to travel from Hougnag Ave 3 to Kovan City.

What abt svc 181? Can consider as a gdwill svc? Think the 6 mths trial is over. Not sure will this svc be discontinued.

svc115 is also well past its trial date.
svc181 got loads from BNL.. it serves a rd which only has sv181 to serve the area only (JW ave 3)
sv68 also past trial date.
the only trial service to be chopped is sv401 (orchard rd)

i noticed that ridership is still dere....i am sure 181 myt continue as diz bus was requested by the resident and the MP of that area....i read it in da Hong Kah Newsletter...if withdrawn, myt spark fury...now we dont want dat do we? Wink

BNL is high density area.. got many ppl and buses coming endlessly.. 181 only serve a small area, partly covered by 243. i think SBS is prudent about the new services, thats why freq is low. sv48 also low freq.. sv88 improved after 6 mths, fm 12-15mins to 5-11 mins.. we wait and see Razz
rem sv323? freq bet 10 - 30 mins.. always empty.(i took a ride b4)
sv268 at night at 15 mins.. also no good
Bt Merah feeder also above 10 mins..

haha, i like your idea...then confirm hougang central interchange no space during peak hours...wonder how bendy buses going to move around... Smile
